1. List five purposes of the government.
-organization
-ruling power in political society
-to make laws
-adjudicate disputes
-to issue administrative decisions

2. Would you be willing to join a revolution if our government was not fulfilling the purposes of government you listed above? Why? Why not?*

-Yes, i would because those listed above are needed in the world and are suppose to be part of the government, if they were not life would be unorganized, we would have no laws.. everything would not me how life and living ways are supposed to be.

Assignment 1: Should I Stay or Should I Go?

1. What motivates immigrants to come to the United States (today)? Consider what they lose and what they can gain in your argument.

- What motivates immiqrants to come to the United States is that they would either want to start over in a better place or either because there are better jobs in the United States. They qain better jobs etc., they lose really what they had at their oriqinal hometown; family/friends are left behind.

2. Thousands of Europeans chose to move to the British colonies. Some for economic reasons and some for freedoms. If you decided to immigrate somewhere, would you move for economic reasons or for freedom?

- I would move for both reasons, economic reasons because money is a number 1 priority in the world today and back then; you need money to survive. Freedom because i love to go to places and do thinqs, and they would problably have strict rules.
